“WE BELIEVE IN GIVING BACK TO THE LESS PREVILEGED IN OUR SOCIETY!

Today the 27th February 2020, we welcomed a local community school that came to visit Springhall Primary. We held an outdoor singing assembly to welcome them. The first song we sang was “Somewhere only we know” by Lily Aden, the second song was “Count on me” by Bruno Mars, thirdly we sang “Uyo Meyo” by Teni. Our last song of the morning was “Shosholosa” a South African song which means move forward or forge ahead (with the idea of striving for something).

The visiting pupils came to our school to see our environment, observe how the teachers teach and the different subjects we learn.

As they walked into our school premises and joined our assembly, we clapped our hands to welcome them. After the singing, their teachers visited our classrooms with Miss Cynthia our Head of Primary who introduced our teachers and other staff to the visitors.

From my observation, they looked very neat and organised but I think they may require good desks and chairs, also some black boards and others in their classrooms.
